The Roundhouse: Episode 11
I got a good chuckle out of Neil’s comment about not seeing the details anyways at a certain point in life…Very true my friend… Even relates to when I am using decals in ho scale, I often can’t can’t find the 2" comp brake shoes decals once they go in the water… keep up the great work…
Thanks guys, really enjoyed that! I’m modelling the early 70’s and I find that there is a real void in HO scale automobiles for that era.
Looking at the word “detail” from a slightly different prospective, the “detail” I dislike the most is the price. Stupid remarks aside, I would like to suggest to Tony that the requirements we place on our track - the rails specifically - instead of only enough current to turn the motor, now it is enough to make sound and run lights and move the engine – all meaning the track must be better all the time.
Sorry, wasnt finished. I had to use some atlas flex which oxidized far more than the peco.
Tony, I think the material the rail is made from varies from one brand to another. I have used a lot of peco flex but gad to use
What, no Roundhouse extensions? Just kidding, nice conversations this round.
