I was curious to know who if anyone owns the property that is at the loops. Was there years ago and could see some farm equipment, vehicles, and structures that looked to be occupied. Now, if you look at Google Maps, it appears that the property is abandoned or at least not occupied. Does anyone know anything about this property?
Whoever owns it, it’s private property.
The 28,000-acre Loop Ranch has been owned by The Nature Conservancy (TNC) since late December 2021 and is now named the Frank and Joan Randall Preserve in honor of its donors.
TNC has purchased additional ranches in the Tehachapi Mountains, creating a 72,000-acre conservation area.
Prior to the sale, the Loop Ranch had been owned by the Broome family.
