Thomas The Tank Engine

Does Thomas’ mood affect his horsepower and tractive effort? I would think that if he was angry or upset, he’d have a higher capacity for creating steam. Of course, I don’t know what his boiler is rated at and his safety valves (ears?) might vent off the extra pressure.

(Psst - don’t tell the kids this: Of the four Thomas replicas, only one is actually powered…)

The other three are just "shove platforms, albeit with smoke generators, light, and a whistle.

That is anything but useful. [*-)]

I’ve had a locomotive or 2 in my time like that.
