why did they do that?
My family and I spent many pleasant hours and miles over the years riding in those cars. I hope that ORHS will soon obtain replacement cars and be able to resume excursions.
You might ask CSX why one of their crews decided to push a long string of loaded freight cars with the Passenger equipment in the middle of the consist. After paying for the damage, The Orrville Group was told to hit the road. It was also decided by CSX that passenger trains and Steam Locomotives were not welcome on their trackage anymore.
