You’re railway looks great.
Paul
Thanks so much! It is (usually) a labor of love!
HUZZAH!!! Now sit back with a beverage and ponder what to do next!
Eric
Off to a great start !

Hi Gayra, I’ve had my garden railway for about 12 years. Let me know if you have any questions.
Here’s a couple more as we close out spring…
Box cars await unloading pierside at Haluku’ili’o. They will exchange bagged sugar for industrial supplies and general merchandise.
Meanwhile, Komaka Nui heads out to the fields for M&K Sugar for more cane to feed the mill.
Back at the docks…
And, because of the day…
None are forgotten.

Great pictures !

Thanks very much, Paul! We spent about 8 manhours over two days to bring the Triple O to full dress for a garden party. It was fun to see the effort translate into good pictures!
Eric
A bit late for meteorlogical spring, but a couple of photos from my expanded garden layout. I roughly doubled the size this spring…only eight yards of fill
Glad to have the St. Vrain Western is back up and running.
An overview of the garden:
The buildings were all scratchbuilt by my late grandfather.
Great looking railroad! Looks fantastic!

Here’s what I’ve been up to: these engines are around 30 years old. They have been kitbashed, unabashed, rehashed, and modified and repaired many times. They have both been modified to run on track power, or battery by flipping a switch. This adds operating flexibility.
Paul
Those look great, Paul! I eventually would like to upgrade to battery power some day. I like the diamond stack on number 25.
Thanks, Paul!
Gorgeous! Congratulations on the extension!
Eric
Thanks, Casey !
If these two engines could talk… the 25 was purchased from Charles Ro in 1995. It had a Barry’s drive for many years. It has a 10th Anniversary drive now. The stack and firebox and backhead are from a Lehmann Porter. The 274 was purchased on the Queen Mary in 1997. It was originally a Bumble Bee. I am old school, and run primarily track power, so battery operation on a couple of engines allows more trains running on the same track.
Paul
Casey, you have put in a lot of work and your layout looks great !
