toledo angola and western

does anyone have pics or info on the toledo angola and western? also a few years back trains ran an few pages on a small railroad that is now torn up i think. it was owned by whilpool or something like that. the president of the company was stan white. any info please thank u

The TA&W operated from a connection with the Toledo Terminal and Conrail at Vulcan Station (Toledo) to Silica OH, 8.22 miles.
Traffic is cement, lumber and brick. Revenue class A.
The company was incorporated July 11, 1902. In January 1913, the company took over the Silica Northern Railway extending from Silica to Centennial, OH. The railroad filed for abandonment authority in June 1977.
The company is owned by the Medusa Corporation.

The 1979 railroad guide says it general offices are in Cleveland OH. It provided service between Vulcan(Toledo)OH, Hickock & Silica OH. It had connections with Toledo Trunk line @ Vulcan but did not interchange with CR which offered direct service to Vulcan. Chairman & Pres at that time was a S.A. Rogers Jr [:)]
