I placed a phone order on July 1st with Tonys for two Digitraxx items and they were on backorder. I wanted to check on the status of my order so I sent an E-Mail last week and there was no reply, then this week I called on Monday and I got a message that all operators were busy leave message and phone # and they would get back with me. I waited all day and no reply. Did the same thing on Tuesday with no reply.
Please do not misunderstand I am not bashing Tonys as I have been spoiled by the service I have received in the past and this is not normal service from them . I am just curious if anyone else is having a problem communicating with them.

It must be some sort of glitch in their phone system. Tony’s Trains is a stand up, reputable retailer so I would keep trying until you get someone in person. Don’t feel bad, my Digitrax order was backordered for 3 months before I actually received my decoders.
I also confirm Tony’s is a great place to do business. This is also a small business and as such they may be at a train show, etc. This should not prevent them from responding however. You might resend your e mail or try calling again.
I was just going to mention the same thing. Sometimes after a show there’s a bit of catching up to do. (Even before, just prepping for the show itself.)
Jim, give Tony’s a couple of more days to sort things out then try again…
Digitrax production has been a bit spotty over the past year, what with the factory move to Florida, but they are still one company in this hobby that makes stuff in the USA. Also, if you have ordered a throttle from them, they are right in the transition period of introducing a new DT throttle. Initial production was sold out almost immediately and most all the dealers are waiting for more stock to arrive.
I too have problems at time with these people when it comes to orders…they tell you one thing thru E mail and three or four weeks later they tell you something else on the phone.
