What do they mean on both sides of the track made of metal yellow on top red on bottom. I think it is. slow head and possible stop due to track work but I don’t see anyone around. Am i right?rambo1…
In my neck of the woods, yellow over red is a slow order.
In GCOR (we have no idea where you are), Red over yellow is a form B , the actual stopping limit is two miles ahead (unless it’s a short board for a switch or junction) and the approaching train has to contact the person in charge of the Form B (usually a track foreman, welder, etc) for permission to pass the next board (a red stop sign) - otherwise the train pulls up to the stop board and waits. The train can go no further.
Im in north toronto ontario on the cn line. I saw them again their yellow over red one on the left and right side on one track
