I really liked Kieth Schmidt’s photo of the 4449. The photo looks like it could have been taken in the setting for a wide variety of mysterious events, or a movie promo shot (except for that wire running thru the image) for a spooky film set on or near a railroad.
I can’t say I was too crazy about any of the entries, but thought that Tom Nanos’ submission came closest to fitting the theme for the week. He got my vote.
A difficult subject theme for sure … But, Tom Nanos’ shot seemed most eerie to me.
Hey, want something really eerie? Check this photo out:
The residence on the left is angled, and unlike the others on the street. In the early- to mid-1970’s, Santa Fe Railway’s line through the famous Pasadena, CA (town of the nationally televised Rose Parade on New Year’s Day) was relocated because of a freeway construction project. Now, the eerie part: Can you image all the famous starlets and handsome stars that have gone through in the past what is now this house’s front room … or bedroom?
Getting back to the theme of this thread … I wonder if Tom Nanos had anyone with him when he snapped his ghostly photo …
