just joined the forum. I would like to buy my grandson a train for Christmas. I have an old Greenburg 1995 and will go out and buy a new one today. However only have 3 hours left on a # 6-11984 train. Would someone e-mail me the value. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5941203390&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT
The value depends highly on the conservation. If it’s in very good or mint condition it’s more expensive then slighly worn exc. But that’s obvious. It’s more important to secure yourself that the seller can be trusted. For example by checking his/her account for the amount of negative notes.
The price paid after the bidding ends highly depends on the interest at that moment. You can have it for a cheap price, or you paid too much. Mostly a bit of patience and a search on ebay on the wanted item shows you if it’s a reasonable price you’re paying…
