The Texas and Colorado Wars live on in train form.
Texas & Pacific vs. the Colorado & Southern. And it is the Santa Fe who decided the winner. And the Canadian’s had their own name for it too.
So with the above comments, it must be the 2-10-4. And do you honestly expect us to call is a Texas? [:P]
2-10-4 Also called a ‘Texas’. Built by Baldwin in 1927-29 these were the most powerful locomotives of the Chicago Burlington & Quincy, sadly all 18 were scrapped in 1961.
