Can’t trim those trees! It upsets the environ-mentalists. Amtrak as to be seen as pro-environ-mental. I have seen that right-of-way. Let’s just say a logging road in Yooperland is better maintained for the 11 axle loggers.

On the other hand, so much for Amtrak being part of the country’s critical transportation. More like optional transportation, if it is able to actually operate today. Or tomorrow. Or perhaps it won’t run at all.

Ya, and they should do some tree cutting maintenance too !!!

A little ‘arborial aesculapian’ preventative maintenance would go a long way to prevent these closures.

Tree removal could be done at night to avoid disrupting service. Tree removal would be a good idea on other corridors also.
