Yes the line still goes threw town and it’s all UP.
And some of us would still call it the Cotton Belt. But yes it is now the Union Pacific that owns the railroad through Tyler.
I recall passing through there in February 2006 on the Eagle and noticed that UP has a good sized yd in town. Other than that, don’t remember much on the brief station stop

The UP has a line there ,and, the Cotton Belt Depot has been fully restored to its magnificent beauty and would be worth a trip…RR artist John Winfield did as painting of it a few yrs back,its called “Train Time in Tyler”
