I am looking to acquire a copy of the first issue of Trains Magazine. It was brought to my attention that the first image published by Trains was of a subject on my little short line railroad! The cover photo features the water tank at Casco Junction, Wisconsin…the interchange between the Ahnapee & Western Railway and the Kewaunee Green Bay & Western Railroad.
Any help is appreciated. I’ve checked out the usual customers online…

I’m not sure where to look, but if you’re just searching for the articles you’ll probably have a better chance trying to find some photocopies.
The cover pic is looking up at the tank from ground level-- no view of anything else on the ground, as I recall. So don’t imagine you’re missing much by not having a copy-- but if you want a peek I can make a paper copy for you.
It does appear on eBay now and then, but as you can imagine those early issues tend to sell for more than they’re worth.
