I’ve decided these old eyes aren’t going to cope with N Scale so I’m going to HO. Keep in mind I know nothing about Model Railroading.
Do MRC Tech 4 transformers come with everything needed to actually hook them to the track and run the train? If they don’t how do you do it and/or what’s the best way to do so?
They do not come with the necessary wire to connect them to anything. You’ll need wire to connect the variable DC output to your track to run trains, and wire to connect the fixed AC output to turnout motors if you have any of them, and to buiding lights, etc.
An easy way to connect the MRC to your track is to use two-conductor speaker wire from Wal-mart, Home Depot, or other store that sells it.
No sir, they do not come with wire or the power terminals. You need a Terminal Track or Terminal Joiners.
The best advice I can give for how to do wiring is to suggest to you to choose a book for beginners.
