Transit systems mark ‘Dump the Pump Day’

ATC for buses

This is a great idea-if you live somewhere that you can take public transit as a viable alternative. For many in small to mid size cities-even some larger ones, public transit is inconvenient, and sometimes non existent.

It’s funny, I live here in Florida with a few thousand senior citizens within 4 miles of my home in either direction N. or S. on Hwy 27. There is hardly a week goes by without hearing of some accident that involved our seniors. Some of these people are in their 90’s driving and using walkers when not. Everyone complains about the driving abilities of them but the city and county does nothing to provide buses to the senior communities. If you want a bus you have to drive into town to get it. Gee, that helps doesn’t it. Public transportation has become a thing of the past. Bring back trolly lines to every city…now that would be nice.
