Can you run them in Wolf Packs?

Oh, man, I own at least a half dozen U-Boats (I’m not even counting another half dozen of their B-Boat replacements), so, yeah! I can do that!

A number of BHP iron locos got bought up by HTLX(my own lease company)still not repainted. Here we see a couple sd40-2’s pulling thru Sleepy Eye MN.
I was going to say, are you suddenly modeling down under?! LOL! Nice locos!
Here’s another set of U-boats for a two-fer Tuesday, but this pair turned out to be quite coincidental. I didn’t realize what I had until after I had already owned these engines for quite some time.
I love tracing the lineage of locomotives. The U36B on the left (CSXT No. 5764) is former Seaboard Coast Line (SCL) No. 1776(1), which was renumbered to No. 1813 to make room on the roster for SCL No. 1776(2), the bicentennial unit (shown on the right), in a subsequent order from GE. Two railroad mergers later No. 1776(1) became CSXT No. 5764.
In essence, this is a pair of SCL No. 1776s that are NOT the same locomotive! Just ignore the temporal issue that is these paint schemes.

What a story! Very cool to have the two of them on your roster!
Ahh, fresh canvases to ponder.
Continuing the RDC theme - a couple of Proto 1000s, Amtrak RDC-2 #35 & #36
I like these two models as much as my Athearn B/B ones, but because the Proto models are more modern and accurate, the scale differences between the versions shows-up, big-style.
The Protos are true length and highlight the tight Curves on my Layout.
Also, I can Detail and Paint the Athearn models, as much as I want to, whereas I would not want to alter the Protos in any way.
But it is just good to be able to run an Amtrak Train - however unrealistic it might seem - for the moment at least.
Paul.
I need some RDCs, they’re so iconic. Very nice! Took a ride on a New Haven RDC at the Danbury Railway Museum this weekend! Lots of fun.
Brand-spankin shiny and new, a pair of RS-11s:

And how about a pair of EMDs? (Toasters or Swedish Meatballs!)

Yes, they were made by EMD!
