I have been collecting the Tyco Spirit of 76 sets. The one that i am having trouble finding is the Tropicana Set. I have the box with the seal on it and all the cars except the tropicana cars. Can anyone help me with this or know someone that might have one that is interested in selling. A long shot i know. Thanks Mike

Welcome to the forums.
If you set up an ebay “saved search” they will notify you when your item comes up at aucton. You don’t have to check anything but your email daily. There is a way to check prices of recently sold similar items too, sorry I don’t know how to do that. I just watch and bid conservatively on the first few that come up until I get an idea of what most of them are going for.

Congratulations. I wondered what you had decided to do. When I looked at that item, I think it was around $100. I see it finally went for $150 or so plus shipping. Most folks here wouldn’t have been interested in that set. Goes to show that there is a buyer for almost everything.

I have one. The locomotive has been used but is in good condition. I don’t think the rest of it was ever taken out of the boxes.

Thanks Kevin. As Henry said, the pic is there if you click the link. At the time I was not able to access my FTP server, so I used Dropbox. I’ve posted three times in the past 4 days and only 1 post has appeared so far. I’m hoping that ends soon.
