i just bought this train USATC United States Army Transport Corp colours, for hauling the "Hospital Train at a swap meet and was woundering what size whells i needed to put on the cars the cars ar rivarossi

36 inch wheels. Some of those cars made by Rivarossi and sold by IHC came with 28, which was way too small.

Keep in mind you may have to modify the brake shoes when fitting larger wheels on some of those trucks for better clearance. Otherwise, you’ll find someone keeps forgetting to release the brakes.
