Not bad considering that it must be hard to get American equipment and information. The layout would be good here in the U.S.
Hello, we are in the USA. Very nicely done friend.
one of the nicest layouts I’ve seen, well done, enjoyed how you just keep it simple and FUN
Love you railroad and the production of the video. Congratulations.
Thank you for showing your RR. Great show, job, and narration
You did a fantastic job on showing life in the US…The CocaCola machine and the farm tractor and the drunk
as well as the man taking a leak…that was just great! Yes that is life in the US!
You did just great for not ever even being in the US! The narration and the sax music was great too! Thank you!
Loved the video and your trains. Your joy in your craftwork and imagineering shows and transfers to your viewer (ME)! I also admire that you are modeling “foreign railroads”, something I have considered but avoided due to the difficulties of recreating the “scene” (even with the expansive resource of the Internet) from somewhere beyond my direct experience. Thanks for sharing ! BOb C.
Enjoyed it…Very well done.

Very nice layout. One very small point of criticism: the trains are going way too fast. Having
them move more slowly is much more realistic. By the way, it is not very difficult to find US
models in Europe. There are several hobby shops especially in Germany and the UK that have an extensive range of US and Canadian models .My favorite LHS is only 15 minites by car and has quite a sizable stock of US material. The only problem is that they are often very expensive. And then of course there is always e-bay.
Wonderful video. I really enjoyed it. Your pleasure in building and operating your layout was quite evident.
Thank you all for your very nice comments. I want to add some more information about my layout and my video. Some of the footage was made in 2008 when the railroad was almost not in use, but I wanted to make a short video of my layout. I made a video and presented it on YouTube just for fun. As you will understand another hobby of mine is making videos. I join a local videoclub and some of us somtetimes participate in the Norwegian championship for video amateurs. A year ago I wanted to participate with a couple of videos and as a start I used the old footage from 2008 and added some old pictures and some new video scenes where I show and tell how I made the layout. I was lucky and the jury liked the video so well that I received the “gold medal” for it. Let me emphasize that in the group for documentary videos there where 7 - seven videos. Making videos is quite a small activity here in Norway.
A side effect of this video and the competition I started to work with my railroad again after many years when nothing had been done.So now I have planted more trees, moved some buildings, bought two diesel locomotives on eBay and have I many ideas what to to in the future.
So if I shouldl make a new video about my layout I would made in a little different. As written in one comment my trains run too fast. I could not agree more, but the next time…
May be I can show you another video later when some of my plans have been realized.
Here is the first video I made with no building information and no narration.
