Vacouver Oddities 2000

Back during my old job, I used to get sent to Vancouver a lot. Prior to 9/11/2001 the Port area was pretty much wide open. Among the oddities there then (and maybe still there), were a the diesel-hydraulic 0-4-0s that worked Pacific Elevators.

First image though is of the Radio Control Road Switcher coming back from Coqueitlam.

I rail fanned Vancouver twice and never saw those. Dang! It’s a great city.
