Various Model Pictures

Hi Guys,

By the title of this post, you can tell I am sharing a hodgepodge today.

Included is a car from Front Range Products I custom weathered… A Quonset hut which is part of the Walther’s Diesel Loading kit, and a snowplow I added to my Atlas Trainman DM 345.

Anybody ever hear of Front Range Products? I got the kit at my LHS and it was so old the instructions were moldy.

I have a Front Range Geep, company is long gone. Body is so so at the very best but has a great motor in it.

By the way, have you seen our Weekend Photo Fun that’s started ever Friday? It would be the places to show of your modeling talent. Which I will add looks very good!

Wow!

That boxcar has one of the most realistic weathering jobs I have ever seen. If it wasn’t for the KD hoses, it would be difficult to tell from the real thing!

As an old “oil nut”, your terminal is of special interest to me and I really like it. “Twer me”, I would do one more thing, and that is to add some dullcote or light weathering to the tanker truck.

The loco looks really nice as well, “you do good work”!

I’m currently constructing a layout, in the middle of trackwork/wiring/testing, and have put my modeling efforts to the side for the last 16 months or so. I can’t wait to get back to it, and frankly your work has inspired me!

Thanks for showing them,

Mobilman44

Nice work, Kyle.

What’s a DM 345? All I can see in the bottom picture is a C-424 or C-425. Unless you are referring to the road name on the loco - D&M.

345 is the make of the Alco, isn’t it? The Road Number is DM 281, I also have the DM 181

I think I got my numbers mixed up :slight_smile:

That is an Alco C425

C = Century series

4 = 4 axle

25 = 2500 horsepower

That’s! what I meant
