The record feature seems like it could be a very helpful tool at an open house or train show. Way to go Broadway.

Read review this unit in June MR. Very impressive decoder although I question need on non loco sound bites. Do you have any info on mfg. this sound decoder - Broadway used to have QSI - do they supply this one as well??

UNTILL NOW I WAS STRICTLY STEAM BUT AFTER SEEING THE VIDEO I GOTTA HAVE ONE OR TWO MABYE THREE IF THE BOSS WILL LET ME

Wow that was cool

Awesome!!! I like the ability to record a sequence, and set it on auto-pilot. Great feature for solo operators.

Hi Dana, love the variety of sounds. Particularly the ability to ramp up the motor revs. Is it possible to create the heavy, throbbing beat to simulate when under load such as when slowly climbing a grade with a loaded train. This is something that seems to be missing from many sound equipped locos. Just imagine 4 or 5 of these at the head end of a long freight, bursting out of a tunnel on an uphill drag, all at full song. What a thrill!!
The only negative comment I can make is that the loco seemed to jump at the start of the automatic sequence and then slow down somewhat,or is that just a matter of fine tuning?
Oh yeah, and I’ll bet that bloke on the platform was glad of his plastic ears again! Does he get the chance to be moved to somewhere else on the layout for a rest now and then? Somewhere maybe that he could savour those countryside sounds.(even the rooster)

Outstanding system!

I like the sound. Maybe BLI and or others can add better sound in their older models.

Hey Dana that was awesome i have seen another video to ,very impressive decoder so you can run it both ways. awesome move broadway.

I bought one and it sound and run are very impressive.

I tend to agree with my fello aussie from Qld, he sums it up quite well. Probably with a bit of run in time she will be a much more managable beast.
I’m wondering if they intend to market the decoder as an after market item as I have several diesel’sthat it would go well in.

Nice model. I model mainly in O Scale, but I do have one HO scale track on my layout. Trains always derail on the turnouts, so I don’t want to spend all that much money on a train that will just derail.

Wow! Santa I will be real good for a pair of those engines really I will

As Dwane from Alaska said, I will be real good… and remodel in HO Scale for a pair of - em!!! Nice:)!

I am glad that I have a pair of them: both CP Rail road numbers #9802 and #9803. Now I just need track to run them on. Am I the only guy that does that - buy the loco’s and then plan a track for them??? dale

I have and ho set that i started in 1979 ran it for about three years and put it up now i have a bigger house i plan on srarting over again so mutch as changes cost is out of site my question is how can i find out witch dcc control will fit in my locomotives i have some from three or four different manufactors love your books can’t wait till next month thank you for the help

Just wait until a auto pilot train crashes with another train. Just like the airlines a big mistake
