Great segment! I love the building interior, and am now planning a similar structure, a piano factory, for my own layout. Thanks MR!
Ditto on the screen size thank you.
Great episode. I would like to ask Jim what was the original kit that he used for the Virginian Coal mine building (the grey and black piece)? I am trying to find one for my planned coal mine scene on my RR. I might also use his “additions” from the Glacier Gravel Co. as well.
Thanks very much!!

Great video with alot of instructional information.
I second the “Thank You” for adding full screen video viewing.
very nice. what glue do you like to use?
great tutorial for scratch building! really helps and takes some of the initial fear out of starting a project. thanks
I’ve been working on adding interiors to a warehouse on my layout and have run into many frustrations. This video helped me a lot. Time to reorganize and implement some of the ideas shown.
nice work on the bins Jim at least some part of the Glacier Plant survives even though the crusher Gordy built is now a museum piece
what parts Jim does not use will be salvaged by David to use on the Virginian Layout for the mine on the Thin Branch
Should have seen this while it was still fresh. Steve, since the plant building is fairly new, why not just reverse the walls so that the scribe marks are on the outside; or even sandwich two wall sections so that the interior and exterior are the same. The latter might even provide some additional strength. Neat building.
