Great job with the structures Jim and Steve!!
Well, it must have been something I did wrong 'cos when I went back to the video and clicked on the header, up it came!
And now I’ve got some ideas for my own loader - thanks, team!
Hello Kevin,
Sorry you’re having difficulties. Chrome currently has some significant issues with HTML5 and steaming video. At this time we are suggesting that users select a different browser to watch MR and MR Video Plus material. Hopefully, Google will work out its issues in short order with its browser and you can return to using it. But at present, you’ll have a much better experience with just about any other browser.
Thank you for your patience,
David
You guys must buy a lot of styrene. Do you get those small packages at the hobby shop, or is there a more economical way to get it?
I was happy to receive MR Video Plus on April 1 & watched all of the features. Only problem I had was that the streaming is juttering(looks like dropped frames). I figured it was streaming issues & things will work themselves out eventually! The product is well done & well worth the effort. I’m sure that your audience will be patient because they & I know how capable you people are at MR. Keep up the good work.
On the subject of issues watching videos, i used to be able to watch them here at work and they use Internet explorer and since the new MRV started i can no longer watch them. Kinda stinks used to be my lunch time entertainment. I fear i will not be able to keep up on all the videos now!!! looks like a great segment though
i’ve got the most recent version of chrome (Version 26.0.1410.43 m), the latest version of windows media player, flash, quick time and all the other video viewing software, and yet i still get the message that “this video has not been encrypted for your device” and it’s aggravating as all get out. i got an email from kalmbach customer service telling me to download the latest version of chrome. that’s it? sheesh, if it was that simple i would have been watching videos for 4 days now. when i ruin the diagnostic (link in FAQs) it tells me that i don’t have windows media player. the heck i don’t! c’mon guys, i paid for this. give me a little help so i can watch the videos.
David:
Loving the new MRVP site! Beats the heck out of trying to find stuff on YouTube. Terrific amount of content out of the box and the overall look and navigation for the site is top notch. That said, searching for videos in the Project Layouts section is a bit unwieldy. Ideally, though, it would be great if you could organize the section by each specific project layout and in an ascending numerical order. This way, someone that is interested in building say, the Virginia project, could navigate directly to that series and then quickly find episode one and so on. Currently, all the project layouts seem to be lumped into one big pile on the project layout landing page. MO
I have parts 1 through 10 downloaded for future reference. Now all of a sudden this part cannot be downloaded . Yep I have had it with MR, I will now deal with MRH from now on, it’s all free anyway.
Interesting segment, especially Jim’s quarry facilities and also the tips he passed along to Steve. Especially the idea of using styrene rod instead of regular square styrene.
However, I am still very disappointed that I am unable to watch full screen as I have been able to do in the past. Too bad regular viewers are having their service downgraded at this time for some reason.
Very interesting video.
I have tried use the MR Video Plus enhancement feature to watch the Winter Hill Quarry Branch part 11 video but after several attempts, clicking on the MR Video Plus button, I am immediately disconnected from the MR website. Am I entering the Video Plus incorrectly?
Great segment. Thanks Steve and Jim (and David too for the great video work).
A big THANK YOU to MR for listening to us and allowing full screen viewing of the MR+ videos.
Great presentation. Very informative. Thanks.
THANK YOU MR for providing full screen videos of the MR+ segment.
Hi Robert,
Jim kitbashed the loader as well as the mine on the Virginian Ry. from Walthers New River Mine kit.
Thanks for watching,

David Popp–I believe you should know that Firefox has significant issues with the new video format/server, too. I’d expressed my frustration to Customer Service, and after discussing it with Megan I submitted a detailed spreadsheet listing specific issues with specific videos at specific points comparing Safari and Firefox, old and new videos, streamed through MR and MRVP. I’ve gotten no acknowledgement or response but hope that’s been of some value. The problems definitely persist.

Really enjoyed the structure video. It’s probably a personal preference but I find it easier to follow if you say 15 thousands thick rather than. point o one five thick.
