Nice model, Liked seeing it move slowly so you get a better look. As I recall these were also made by Bowser some yrs ago but unpowered. This is a big improvement if you can come up with the price.

No sound???

Even though I grew up in Kalamazoo, I never got down to the station at the right time to see it. It seems to be an excellent model. My only gripe is, why are they releasing the decoder and sound system well after the model? If you have a DCC layout you need them both at the sam time.

i FEEL THE SAME AS lARRY STEEN FROM PENNSYLVANIA AND THOMAS TIEDT FROM WISCONSIN

The price may be a little steep but it looks sharp. If the quality and performance are up to the standard of their Pioneer Zephyr, no quarrel from here. A little late for my tastes, but it’s tempting.

Nice…

Con cor has made an extra Coach car DCC ready where you can install your own DCC sound decoder. 4 car set about 430$ , 3 cars add on set about 220$ and DCC ready Coach car about 85$

Saw this train operating at a train show recently and it was quite nice! Walter Rogers was right about “talgos” having “poor riding qualities”. I took my kids for a ride on a “talgo” train back in 75 from Boston to Providence and became quite apprehensive over the ride. As we neared Providence the car tried to leave the track. “roadrailers have the same problem”!

I have one, plus one addition set of 3 cars, I love it, looks just like the one Dad took us to see several times in 1956 when it was running on the NYC in Michigan through our home town. Con-cor has done a nice job with this model. Minor items, number board and cab lights are too bright, but a great addition to my model railroad for sure. Sound would be nice.

I sure wish I could afford one. We have an Aero Train Loco in St. Louis’s Museum of Transporttation. I have always been fascinated by it. It is quite a conversation piece but unfortunately it was a flop. Converted buses for rail passenger cars… Con Cor made a nice version of it though. I would own it if it was within my budget.

Why does it have to be sooo expensive?

Nice Model, but not a nice price.
