okay, unfortuanantly, the video did not work, but the AUDIO did!
Since there was no loud boom when the explosion happened, I did upload the audio from the two newscasts on KTVI and KMOV! I can NOW send atleast the audio from the two casts to anyone who doubts me!
BTW, one of the reporters misspronounced my last name as “Pirock” when its Tiroch! (pronounced Tie-Rock)
They do not have it on their website’s, I have scoured them…heck I got kicked off loconotes because they think its all a scam for me trying to get money… [:-(] I am not a happy camper right now!
You are not likely to find the video on their websites since it was not shot by a credentialed news photographer. The rules differ for news video/audio broadcast over the air and a website. It’s an ownership issue, if the engine fire had spread and burned the town then they would probably have brought the legal department in to make a deal with you for Internet rights. The engine fire alone does not make it worth the time and money required to include it on the website.
I’m assuming (I know a very bad word) that there was actually video. That aside not every story we broadcast makes it to the website. So I am trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.
You said that you got it on the Digital Camera and will transfer it to computer. Did you get it on Tape? Or on the camcorder’s memory stick? Usually a Firewire or USB can transfer a typical camcorder video onto computer’s hard drive.
Did you use editing software like Roxio7 (Example?) to get the complete video converted to a file type such as .WMV or a .AVI? That type of file can then be uploaded to any number of free video hosting sites on the net.
If someone else had recieved a copy of the video WHY arent THEY putting it up on the net?
Sorry for the questions if they have been answered already.
