hey cody i like the steam locomotive looks cool

David, you forgot to say to wear safety glasses when cutting the wood. The demonstration was very informative for the nonwood workers.

Great show. Lots of fun. What is the best way to clean the wheels on a steam loco? Thanks for all info.

Good Codys Office

Hey cody, I know that old girl. I took a ride with her at the South Carolina Railroad Museum. You should take a ride on her next time you see her. I think the Gramlings also finished #126, a 0-6-0T.

I would also love to see more articles/model railroads about logging railroads. I am really into the geared steam stuff. Another great episode

hey cody, do you have any tips for ballasting track? Great show. Thank you.

Cody, WOW that was a really big locomotive, what a treat for you guys at Kalmbach. Your last outake with Neil was great and oh yes it has enough weathering to last a lifetime. Alot of nice new products as well, would be nice to see the BN unit in operation with the sound and mars light, maybe next episode eh. See you next time on Cody’s office, and are you going to tape every two weeks or go back to your weekly episodes.

Loved the last clip.

Did this locomotive meet NMRA specs? It must take a really big DCC decoder! Great idea. Thanks

I had the pleasure of seeing the Flag Coal Co. 0-4-0 last summer at the Petersburg, W. Va. rail fest under steam. Its just the right size to haul around with a tractor trailer. To be up your way means that they were a long way from home.

It’s aways great to get up close and personal with steam railroad equipment, especially when its clean and in a safe environment. The Steam Institute in Owosso, Michigan is a great place to visit and learn the ropes in maintaining railroad equipment. It allows interested parties to take courses that when completed can allow participants an opportunity to be an “engineer for an hour” on the Berkshire #1225.

Love that old Loco! Great that you showed something from the NORTHERN PACIFIC in the new products section. NP The Greatest RR EVER!!!

I was going to point out the roofers speed square, Then David has one for his demo. When you use your roofers speed square you need the fence of the roofers speed square on the same side you start your cut. David had it on the ending side of the cut. You can push the roofers speed square of the wood this way and it can pivot if the clamps gives some.

As I’ve said before, you guys are having too much fun for it to be work. Keep it up and might be tempted to ask for a job like yours.

AWSOM

Just think, I could have been using my zig saw for all these years!

Cody’s segments are always informative and entertaining.

Loved the weathering…drybrushing?

Cody, is the 0-4-0 DCC compatible? Great show and please keep up the great work.
