I am currently uploading some videos of how I make stub switches.

Very nice. Gave me a couple ideas. I built some stubs some time ago and they were quite a challenge.

I am sure the critics are waiting like vultures to pounce.

I went to his Website, an no videos that I could see about building stubs…nothing…nada…who do I sue for 5 minutes of my life back? I wonder what that is worth.

I found it no problem. (But truth be told, I DID have my eyes open…[:-^])

That link was NOT there when I posted this morning.

Now that I have seen them, I have a few comments.

  1. I cannot see what he is actually doing some of the time. The quality of the video is too poor to allow for any detail.

  2. He tends to bring in and out mystery tools that he has “made”.

Beyond that, there seems to be some good information on the page.

I don’t know why I keep answering these [sigh] seems to be the same things over and over again.

One, like one guy said scroll down. It even says that on the main page too.

Two, if you have better videos please show them I would like to see how you do it thanks.

Three, I am not a pro.

Four, the link for the tools I made is under the area called “Model railroad videos”. I know it is hard to see as it is in 1/4 inch high letters there.

Five, hey guys I am trying at least ok.

Six, if you want better videos then donate a video camera to me. AT least then I won’t have to use a 9 FPS camera.

David hmmm never thought of that. Not accepting critism for an effort tohelp others. Neat idea thanks hmmm.

The “mystery” tool is a gauge I not only made but I also posted over a year ago how to make them in pictures AND recently posted a video on how to make them as well. It is in the “Model Railroad Videos” section under “Handlaying track”.

Sorry that the video is not pro level but it isn’t even a video it is a camera and a so so one at that. If you guys want better videos then stop complaining and send me a video camera :smiley:

As for getting back 5 minutes of your life hey sorry about that. Maybe just ignore me from now on ok? :slight_smile:

Well I have a cold so not doing much on the layout. Hopefully once the Powerpax [free from Shawn :D:D] comes I hope to be doing videos on installing the super chief and changing CV’s etc. Remember I said “hope” to be LOL :stuck_out_tongue:
