I was at someones home the night before & he had on his computer a simulation of an actual freight train that was made up in a yard,set out on the open main,& than droped off,set out cars, as it set off to it’s destination. This thing had it all. Locomotive sounds,.breaks, horn.couplers banging,air hoses disconnecting,I mean the whole 9 1/2 yrds. Is this the next generation of modelrailroading,without the models? Are we the last generation of actual hands on stuff? Any thoughts???
Heck no.
Railroad sims are nice, but it won’t take the place of building a layout.
