Walthers ho 2-bay cement hoppers? your thoughts???

I was wonderin if anybody owned any of these cars and what is your opions about them??

I liked the early run of these cars. Walthers changed the roofwalk on the newer runs and they no longer match the C&NW cars. Perhaps they match some other roads cars but I don’t know. That still didn’t stop me from buying all 3 of the C&NW cars on the second run and 4 undecs so I could do some of my own up in C&NW colors. They are a nice car of a unique prototype. I highly recommend them. If you model the C&NW you need a bunch of them.

i like them they are easy to assemble and look good.I have one in Southern and one Norfolk Southern.

The new ones are assembled so if you buy the newer ones you don’t have to worry about that. I do remember mine were pretty easy to build.

Nice cars.I have all 4 CSX cars.The only thing to do is install the grabs on the ends.Dan

They’re OK, after metal wheels and Kadee couplers (no substitutes!). Weight is about right on.
