Ummm, how about the southern United States railroad passenger cars, like the “Silver Meteor”, “Crescent Ltd”, or “Orange Blossom Special”?

Great! Now if Walthers will do a corrugated-side version of the Budd Full Dome car, we can have a San Francisco Chief!

When is Walthers going to get to the ERIE LIMITED?

The Limited Addition 9-car sets are already SOLD OUT.

I find it amazing that all 350 (rather expensive) sets sold out, and of all times, over Mothers Day weekend. I feel lucky that I placed my order on Friday and got my confirmation email early this morning.

I will probably pick up and extra Sky Lounge and a 72-seat Coach just add some additional length. Kind of an insurance policy in the event Walthers does not offer any add-on cars.

Great program they have. How about some consideration for the MP’s Colorado Eagle or the D&RGW’s Prospector.

O.K. another name train but to all of us that have original
ATSF Super Chief cars without the plated finish previously
its just pie in the sky.Come on and offer BOTH finishes
Walthers

Very nice! Now with having the UP City of Los Angeles by Walthers, the SP Coast Daylight by MTH, the SF Super Chief by Walthers and soon the SF El Capitan by Walthers, all what is still left is the SP Sunset Limited to make my fleet of southwestern premier streamliners complete!

How about some heavyweight trains from the 30s, such as the 20th Century Limited or Broadway limited?

WOW! lookin good. too bad all the set are sold out though. I’m going to have to buy a few of these to run in my early 70’s passenger consists.

Hopefully, Walther’s will produce individual cars. Especially, since another company produced the step-up and 72 seat coaches and diner and then decided not to do the lounge. And, yeah, the Big Dome would be nice. Phil

I think they should make Budd bi-level coaches like the Burlington had on its commuter line between Chicago and Aurora. They have Pullman-Standard ones already. I agree also they should do more heavyweight trains.

so what

I rode the El Capitan from Kansas City to Chicago in the early '60’s; impressive train, quiet and comfortable! I hope the model is as terrific as the real thing! Can we buy the model one piece at a time? Not sure I can lay out the full price for the complete set all at once.
