Waves In Water (NEED HELP RIGHT AWAY PLEASE)Its drying

Hi Guys i know this is last minute but need to know how to make the waves with the envio tech liquid water with rocks ect ??

I have heard that you need to use a clean plastic spatula or scraper and just jab it into the surface very lghtly. Don’t use a cross-ways action to make it herringbone since the wind will drive the waves in one direction only. The other thing to do is leave it, and then add an overcoat of Gloss Medium later and use a hair drier to add ripples.

Sorry, that’s all I got.

I think you put a light on it that will give off some heat, like a flood light or something. Better yet, I think I remember someone saying that they used a hairdrier, but I don’t remember if it was on the low setting or high. Try it on one corner and see what happens.

Hey, how’d this come out?

The Envirotex I’ve used on three pairs of HO scale modules was left to dry perfectly still. I noticed later techniques as mentioned previously, using a screwdriver to work the almost solid Envirotex. Some modelers added waves to the surface of the Envirotex with gloss medium. It goes on milky but dries mostly clear. Never had the occasion to try it myself.
