Weathering Supplies List HELP!!

Ok, day three of snow days here in PA. I have run out of modelling projects. No hobbyshop trips possible, either. But I might be going to walmart later on. My question is, what kind of weathering stuff should I get while I’m there. I already have some paints-acrylic and enamel-and plan on buying a can of dull cote. Is there anything else I should get while I’m there for structure or rolling stock weathering? Or anything RR related, period, I should get to keep me occupied? Thanks!

India Ink, rubbing alcohol, paintbrushes (small crafty ones).

Balsa wood pieces. These are great for all sorts of scratchbuilding projects.

I use Durham’s Water Putty for roads. See if Wal-Mart has that. I get it at my local True-Value hardware store. I use foam brushes to smooth it down.

See if they’ve got Baby’s Breath in the artificial flowers section. This, and other stuff like it, can be used for trees.

They might have plaster of paris for rock castings, if you’ve got any molds. Or get some aluminum foil and make your own molds.

Go over to the toy department and look for 1:87 vehicles, too.

My preferred medium is artist acrylic paints, I found I can duplicated just about any of the effects with those But other things that might be available at Wally World might be pastels–look for umber, burnt umber, burnt sienna, and red oxide. Pastel pencils are also good for fine shading.
