I just received Weaver’s latest catalog containing all new products of theirs. Especially new, is their four brass cabooses: DL&W/L-Steam Era-Maroon; DL&W/L-Diesel Era-Maroon; EL-Early Transition from Erie, to EL-Red and EL-Spartan Red. These four are modeled from the prototype and they all have the heavy frame between the cabin and the trucks. They go for a nice piece of change, but they are fashioned out of brass, have prototype-super detailing, lettering, markings, numerals and paint schemes. Ralph
They have some great looking stuff. Can’t wait to see the new catalog.
hrin, Thank you for your reply. They do have great stuff. I was originally a Lionel fan, but some of the C.T.T. Forum members told me about Weaver Models and I joined Weaver’s club and I’ve bought some of their products, which are most prototypical in many ways. Being a member, Weaver Models sent me the Spring 2010 catalog which has many new items, especially the four new brass cabooses, which I have previously mentioned. I would like to buy all four cabs, but they are expensive, so I’ll just get the ‘Diesel Era’ D.L.&W./L. RR. Co’s ‘Heavy’ frame caboose to go along with my powered and non-powered Lionel F.M. D.L.&.W./L. engines. Weaver’s older items and their items in this Spring 2010 catalog are beautifully modeled. Take care, Ralph
