Kids haven’t been helping a lot recently, they want to play computer games instead. So our idea of creating a Christmas set was shelved and we just kept making progress on some signalling. You may have noticed my trials and tribulations in the Electrical forum.
Below is a scratch-built signal bridge with BLMA modern hooded heads, at the West end of Tidmouth station.
Continuing with the theme of giving everyone an overview of my railroad, here’s a overview picture that captures about 1/4 of the layout:
Last week, I shared pictures heading from Knapford station (on the peninsula in the above picture. Let’s head WEST this week to cross the San Francisquito river over a wooden trestle. We scratchbuilt this trestle from bamboo skwers.
There is a small road that goes parallel to the river, under the trestle. Not typical to see big rigs here, but there is one driving by today:
