Weekend Photo Fun, Christmas Edition, Dec. 22- Dec. 25, 2017

I did expect a lot of photos this week with Christmas scenes, pretty amazing as always. I did not expect cookies! Thanks!!

Kids haven’t been helping a lot recently, they want to play computer games instead. So our idea of creating a Christmas set was shelved and we just kept making progress on some signalling. You may have noticed my trials and tribulations in the Electrical forum.

Below is a scratch-built signal bridge with BLMA modern hooded heads, at the West end of Tidmouth station.

Continuing with the theme of giving everyone an overview of my railroad, here’s a overview picture that captures about 1/4 of the layout:

Last week, I shared pictures heading from Knapford station (on the peninsula in the above picture. Let’s head WEST this week to cross the San Francisquito river over a wooden trestle. We scratchbuilt this trestle from bamboo skwers.

There is a small road that goes parallel to the river, under the trestle. Not typical to see big rigs here, but there is one driving by today:

We will continue West to next week!

NP01, I like the overall shots of the layout. Looks good!

Ed,

I know everyone else has been commenting on your foggy bridge, but the caboose scene is also really good. Your AMB kit build looks great.

The title says this WPF runs through the 25th, today.

Lets see some fun photos of eveyone’s trains for Christmas.

My wife bought me an undecorated 6,000 gallon tank car from BLI:
