Haven’t had much of a chance to do anything on the layout this week–not the best week in the world for me. However, since SP does have trackage rights on my Yuba River Sub, thought I’d show you some pics of my new toy. Picked it up at Bruce’s Trains this afternoon before Mass, it’s a Sunset “Prestige” SP MT-5 with directional headlights. Ain’t she a purty lil’ thang, though?

Jonathon,
I have an image to ‘complement’ yours. It’s something I had reserved at my LHS but was unable to pickup until Friday (payday). Not my own handiwork obviously, but I’m still very pleased to have actually acquired it:
Mine is #7845
To make sure credit is given where it is due, I drug Sunday Photo Fun over from the Atlas forum went it was shut down last summer and of whom Sprink is the host and creator as far as I know. I stopped as summer is my busiest time of the year work wise. Anyway here are my latest projects. New Rock paint scheme.

Well here’s the latest project. Maritime’s old engine house was torn down to make room for an intermodal terminal. It small, but will do the trick. The tracks were repositioned and a retaining wall added to increase the size of the ramp. The old Seaboard 40’ trailer against the fence serves as a storage locker. I still need to add lines, signs and some other details plus do a little more weathering.
Here’s a before shot. The new engine facility will be located where the benchwork is visible in the center. The upper tunnel has also been removed. The plan is for some building flats for an urban transition up there.
I brushed this and 4 box cars I’m working on so it when easy. On the other hand, the stripping was not so asy. But I’m getting better at it. I picked up a couple Overland Cars at a train show. I’ll probably
it was DigitalGriffin’s pic that made it too big, not Aggro’s…that does bring up a point though…if ya’ll post pictures, please reduce the size of them before uploading…it saves us from a lot of slow download times getting to this string…Chuck
Jonathon,
The Atlas CW40s all seem to be sold out (I reserved mine back in December) - but not to worry, BLI will be selling a close cousin starting in July: the AC6000-CW. Looks every bit as awesome as the CW40-8. http://www.broadway-limited.com/products/ac6000.htm
Good luck![:)]
I use a viewing program called Polyview. However, most drawing/viewing programs have a fuction for changing image size. Right click and see if yours does. If not Polyview is shareware.
