Western where is it 3/2/06

I’m baaaack.[8D] After a couple days of no internet access[:(]

Welcome back Chad! I was gonna send you an email this morning to see where you had run off to! [:P] I want to say that looks like somewhere in Wyoming, not sure though.

My bad, I forgot to resize them before uploading and they were too big. It’s fixed now.

I don’t know. That looks a more lush and tropical than where I lived in Gillette.[;)]

B. F. Egypt ?

Thats way out in the middle of nowhere, kinda reminds me of an in-law who went to school in Laramie Wyo “50 miles from anywhere and 50 feet from Hell”

It does look like Wyoming but it’s not.

See- I told you. It’s too lush for Wyoming.[;)]

[:0][:D]

Hinkle, Oregon?

Being born and raised in the southeastern part of the U.S.,I really
have no idea of anything about the western states.
The company that I used to work for did a lot of “crossing design”
for the U.P.;so I’m going to take a very “wild” guess, and say:
Pocatello,Idaho.
(and I’m sure that I’m not even close !)

Clemente nailed it. It’s Hinkle, Or., UPs main classification yard in the pacific northwest. It was taken in spring of 93’.

Walt, I did a where is it of the hump in Pocatello about a month ago.

Still looks like 50 feet from Hell to me …[;)]

I don’t know about that, but Reno is so close to hell you can see Sparks.

And Hinkle is just outside the boundry of the Boardman Bombing Range and the Boardman Chemical Warfare Storage Depot. Just let someone drop one of those 40 year old Sarin rockets!

Fortunately, the bombing range is now closed. They are planting trees there now - in the middle of the desert, using Columbia River water (diverted from the salmon needs) so that these trees can make paper and use up CO2 without cutting any Federal Trees.
