Western where is it 3/7/06

Hmmm thats either

Noidea, Nebraska
Idonhavaclue, Idaho
Nottaclue, Nevada

What about
Itsatoughone,Or.[:D]

The clue, it would seem, is the wig-wag (?) signal? Therefore, I have no idea.

OK, I’ll thow out another clue. This is a wye jct., the engine is on one leg and the rail at the bottom is another leg, the third is out of view. Each end of the wye is a mainline.

Springfield Junction?

Mohawk Junction?

Gilchrist Junction?

Perhaps it is Texum, OR (Junction of Shasta Line and Modoc Line).

It sure isn’t Petticoat Junction…no water tower.

You got it. It’s Texum Junction, where one of the last wig wags could be found in the mid 90s (I don’t know if it’s still there now though). The train is the EUROM heading off the main a mile south of Klamath Falls and headded down the Modoc line to Roper yard in Salt Lake City.

Chad,

Come visit me in Santa Cruz…we still have three working wig-wags in town.

Cool !!! I have family up there. Two of my cousins were raised in Aptos and I spent a couple summers there myself, mostly hanging out at the Boardwalk as they both worked there. It was great haveing unlimited free rides.[8D]

Oh No!!! not an Aptos connection again…

My Bro lives there, havent been up there since the 80’s though. Done the Boardwalk, rode the shaky scariest rollercoaster on the west coast, and want to go back to Roaring Camp one of these years.

It’s a small world after all…it’s a small world after all…
