OK, I’ll thow out another clue. This is a wye jct., the engine is on one leg and the rail at the bottom is another leg, the third is out of view. Each end of the wye is a mainline.
You got it. It’s Texum Junction, where one of the last wig wags could be found in the mid 90s (I don’t know if it’s still there now though). The train is the EUROM heading off the main a mile south of Klamath Falls and headded down the Modoc line to Roper yard in Salt Lake City.
Cool !!! I have family up there. Two of my cousins were raised in Aptos and I spent a couple summers there myself, mostly hanging out at the Boardwalk as they both worked there. It was great haveing unlimited free rides.[8D]
My Bro lives there, havent been up there since the 80’s though. Done the Boardwalk, rode the shaky scariest rollercoaster on the west coast, and want to go back to Roaring Camp one of these years.
