i recently got a train set from my mothers attic and really do not no how old it is the only model number i see on the locomotive is PA 944-6 i do know its a lionel help please

can u give more detail, engine type, road name, etc…

only thing it says is reading railroad

ok, i take it that is is a steam loco any numbers or writing underneath?
