I thout they were Great! thanks for leting Me Know about it by and i,l check it out
Big improvement. At least we now know who posted what.
I think its GREAT, the further you go along the truck!!! A good move, more to come?
We were having a problem with posting for part of Monday and Tuesday morning. The posting error has been fixed and things should be working smoothly now.
It’s a great improvement.
I have a problem that my name now seems to show up in full instead of the slightly cryptic moniker that I used to have. Can’t seem to change that in the profile. I may have to create a new identity and start over as a tenderfoot.
I really like the fewer clicks to navigate and exit the threads.
Is there a way to tell which threads I’ve read and which I’ve contributed to?
No, there isn’t a way to tell exactly which threads you’ve read, but the folder icons will indicate which threads are new (or have been replied to) since your last visit. The pinkish purple folder indicates the thread is new (or has been replied to) since your last visit. The yellow indicates it’s an older thread.
If you visit your profile page (or anyone’s for that matter) you should see the last 10 topics and the last 10 replies you’ve posted. It’s not a comprehensive list, but it’s a start.
There is also an option to “Track a topic” where you can choose to be notified when a new reply has been posted since you last read that specific topic. Some forums refer to this as either “Watching a topic” or “Subscribing to a topic”. One difference in how this is setup on this site is that you’ll only be notified once until you come back to that topic. So as an example, if you chose this option, leave the site and 20 replies have been made since you last read that topic, you’ll only receive one message.
Much, much improved. Very professional and full featured. Good job guys!
little confusing right now I’ll get to figure it out then I’ll probably like it. keep up the good work.
Like anything else, you have to get used to find your way around, just do not change it for a long while. I appreciate all things that are available to us. The many topics and photos are great. I like the web-cams and wi***here was one in the new jersey and new york area too. Keep up the good work. I am a railfan, work in h-o,and work with a live steam club. seee ya!

naa i reckon its f****d its so hard to vire posts and all that and i cant find none of my posts , if ya go to www.layitlow.com why dont ya copy their layout , since i see you’ve takin most of their layout features
Forums could use improvement, confusing, I would like to know what happened to the sights and sounds visual movie flicks the scene involving a railroad yard crew and the hooking up of a wrecker train in action, the tug of war between the two locomotives from the movie clips of a vintage film called: Adventure on the high Iron. would like to see those again and where to get a copie of the movie.
I found the new forums to be interesting. I even found an old friend through the forum. I think they could be improved by having the question only once at the top and all responses below that. Thanks for asking.
I can’t see the new forums! The wait is too long and then the server times out with the following error message:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error ‘80040e31’
Timeout expired
/community/forum/pop_profile.asp, line 1275
I apologize for the problems we’re having. This afternoon the performance of the site took a big nosedive. This error message pretty much confirms that our database server took a hit. Thank you for posting the information.
Post about the recent performance of the site:
