What does MOW mean??

What does MOW mean?? I keep seeing it but I don’t know what it means. I think it has to do with maintenance but I then draw a blank.

Don

Wow, that has to be one of the quickest responses to a question in history!(42 seconds after question was asked [:0])

In my case, it means my wife thinks the grass is too long. She yells down into the basement "MOW![:D]

Man o’ War ? [:D]

Could it be Marshmellow on Waffers??? Kevin

maintenance of way applies to the part of a railroad that maintains the tracks and equipment and cleans up after derailments…they are also responsible for maintaining weed control along the tracks and x-raying welds of the track…chuck

MOW is, as stated, Maintenace of Way (track)

There are also some others:
T&E - Train and Engine: people that run the trains.
B&B - Bridges and Buildings: build and maintain railroad structures
C&S - Communications and Signals: Radios, telephones, and signals.
MOE - Maintenace of Equipment: car inspectors, locomotive mechinists, etc.

Nick

That’s exactly what I was thinking. You beat me to the punch.
