What is the best simulator of all time?
Probably one the railroads use to train employees. But having not ever seen one, only read about, it’s just a guess on my part.
AS SAID ABOVE THE BEST ARE ONES USED BY THE RAILROADS FOR TRAINING! DOWN AT THE LAKE SUPERIOR RAILROAD MUSEAUM (DULUTH M,N), THEY OWN AND OPERATE THE EX. WISCONSIN CENTRAL TRAINING SIMULATOR. IT HAS A FULL CAB, A 10 FOOT BY 10 SCREAN, FULL WORKING CONTROLSTAND, AND REAL VEDIO OF THE WC’S NINNAH, CHICAGO, AND MINNEAPOLIS SUBDIVISIONS!!! IT RUNS ON WEEKENDS STARTING IN MAY AND THEN TURNS TO 7- DAY A WEEK OPERATION JUNE-EARLY SEPTEMBER. IT IS CURRENTLLY 3 DOLLERS FOR 15 MIN. I HAVE THE PRIVLAGE TO BE ONE OF ONLY 3 OPERATORS!!! [:D]

Aurans trainz 2006 is by far the best i’ve seen. I own it and use it everyday. Its easy to use, has very high quality graphics and is pretty realistic handleing wise. I dont even use any peice of built in content, All from the DLS and outside sites. Check out the trainz forums to see screenshots and than you can make the final decision heres the link http://forums.auran.com/TRS2004/forum/default.htm

I love TRAINZ 2006 also but it still dosen’t even compeat with a full cab an controol stand of the WC simulator I talk about above!!!
I am also one of the three.
And I am the third to run the WC train simulator. The Nennah Subdivision is probably the best run on the simulator since I my Dad runs the line everyday and I know where everything is on that line, otherwise the other lines you would need to talk to either Max or Kale. Max, kale and I have gotten the name 'THE MONTLEY CREW"[:D] around the rr there in Duluth.

I guess my question would be the MSTS simulator
I didnt know we were called that…lol
i want to know what is the average price on some of the simulaters
Hi NSSR9169,Say I read your reply about the Simulator you run,Do you have any Photos of this Simulator.Sounds *** Fun.
Trainz 2006. With an enormous amount of downloads both on the Download station and in other places, it takes the cake for modeling you favorite railroads. That doesn’t even mention the abilty to create your own railroad.
A full-size RR simulator? Hmm… just one more reason for me to move to Duluth. Hunting, fishing, camping, and a full-size train sim.

Got MSTS, TRAINZ and TMTS,
Can’t get any of them to run properly.

Then of course the free train sim is always the best!

MSTS dosent have all the Bells and Whisels Ha Ha of Trainz but I feels more real when driving.
I intend to get Trainz 2006 and try to run it, the 2004 version just got the better of me and I threw it out, I keep on going back good old MSTS although a lot of the add-ons can be a pain.
