I’ve wondered about these for years as I’m not sure what they are and it’s bugged me! I really like these structures though. I want to add some to a few of my jeeps. What is the orange box structure atop the cab? Thanks guys, Ben.

A/C would be my guess. BTW in a railroad context it’s not “jeep”, it’s either “GP” or “geep”. It comes from “GP” (General Purpose) designation from EMD, like GP-7 or GP-50 etc…Personally I usually just say the initials, like “G.P. twenty” but that’s me. [;)]
