Well, Thats CSX for you. lol [:D]
Just a graphical representation of the success of the CSX ‘One Plan’.
How bout this one
These are all very interesting! But that is the only CSX oddity other than the C40-8 w/ faded letterin and SD70MAC with no nose or rear lettering that I could find. It seems BNSF has alot!!!
Do you mean this C40-8?

Richard, are any of those pictures yours?
It’s safe to say I have not seen this locomotive, and I think every AC4400CW CSX has owned/owns has ridden the rails through here at some point or another. They’re ALL OVER THE PLACE!
Wish I could say they were, but I borrowed them from RRPicturearchives.net. Another cool set of CSX Locos is the ‘Spirit’ series and the ‘DIVERSITY IN MOTION’ series!! Don’t forget the “M of W” pumpkin series!!! All great!! I saw CSX 602, “Spirit of Maryland” not long ago and also (forgot to mention) CSX’s C&O 4617!! Saw DIM 5001 and 5002 various times!!! I LOVE CSX!! If you haven’t figured that out by now!!
I wi***he C&O unit would make its way down here. Unfortunately, it’s stuck in Ohio forever I’m afraid.
Why?? It was spotted in '04 in Maryland!! The time I saw it was in an eight-loco consist!!! CSX, CSX, CSX, C&O, CSX, CSX, GATX, FURX!!! Have you seen any spirits or DIMs??? I would like to know. I am especially into the spirit series and am interested in any sightings of any!!!
Yeah, I’ve seen both. Quite a few of them, actually. No pictues of any, though.
Also, there are various specials!! Below is a list of all CSX rarities:

That’s called copyright violation if you don’t ask permission to repost/rehost…
Dude, I was just showing you guys some photos!! Geez!!! How else was I supposed to ask you guys this if I didn’t have photos??
Anyways, check this cruddy photos I drew of CSX 454 ‘Spirit of Magnolia.’ The pic isn’t crooked, it is just how my tripod was set up. It isn’t my finest quality because I drew it in dim light. As you can see, I am not finished and need to acquire a black marker to finish loco details and the trucks. I didn’t color over the Spirit of Magnolia marks and numbering obviously. And yes, I always have a hecktic (spelling) time drawing the CSX logo. So enjoy!!!
[(-D] I cant stop laughing!!!
Alstom, nice thread, I never would have thought to see a CSX loco like that, nice drawings too!! [:D]
You post a link to the original photo- how would you like it if someone started showing your photos to other people without your permission and without giving credit?
Okay, sorry!! I’ll change it in a lil while.
Anyways, has anyone seen or heard of the ‘Spirit of Atlanta?’ It is a GP40-2. Never heard of it. I believe it is #2702. Thanks
i wonder if anone has modeled this before? it would be an interesting addition, i might have to gice it a go
I am planning on getting the CSX ‘Spirit Locomotives.’ I know them all by heart!!! I believe that Athearn makes CSX 700 ‘Spirit of Cumberland’, CSX 789 ‘Spirit of Nashville’ (if not Athearn, one of them does), CSX 4685 ‘Spirit of Mulberry’, CSX 4688 'Spirit of Tampa, CSX 4699 ‘Spirit of Miami.’ Also, as you stated ‘james saunders’, it wouldn’t be bad to also have the wacky 136 out on your layout.
