As the topic states what is your favorite locomotive? Mine is the GE 8-40cw.

P2K PA1. The one I have pulls like a runaway bull elephant on steriods.

The best looking locomotive in my opinion is the beautiful

SD70ACe

That is going to be the new regular look of the future engines as the SD70M, SD70Macs, SD80, and SD90Macs are the look today.

An E unit in Q colors. Preferably pulling a host of stainless Budd passenger cars. In its hey day there was nothing finer.

My vote would go for the S.P. Cab Forward for the classic and have to take the SDACe (above) as the new kid on the block. Reminds me of the old style EMD’‘s with all the squar elines and gotta dig those big ole’ fins in the back

GE 44 Tonner. Grandfather’s lionel train set had one, the Arcade and Attica Railroad has two, I have 4. Gotta love the little guys! [:)]
