What Railroad do you model?

Freelance based on the Belfast & Moosehead Lake RR in Maine.

I model my free lance SCOTT SQUAD RAILROAD!

~[8]~ TrainFreak409 ~[8]~

The New Haven McGinnis change over before and after (era 1954-1962)

Where’s the SOUTHERN RAILWAY???

Well lets see…Western Maryland, B&O, C&O, PRR, CSX, and of course A.T,lines

The Central Piedmont with guest appearances of Pennsy, B&O, NKP, and N&W trains.

I model the Duluth Missabe & Iron Range, the rest of the US Steel Railroads such as B&LE, Union Railroad, EJ&E along with a few other shorter steel roads. I also model some of the connecting railroads, such as The Milwaukee Road, and C&NW.

CSX

CSX rules!

Many, I can’t limit myself to one. HO, mostly 50’s metal cars, some brass, plenty of plastic too. CB&Q, NP, GN, AT&SF, SP, UP and will probably add some WP, D&RGW and RI for passenger connects. Mid 50’s era.

I model a fictional California Extension of the Rio Grande during the WWII-Korean War period–also a strong showing of SP. Since it is set during the '40’s, I can also ‘borrow’ steam from other railroads (just like the Big Guys did), so it’s not unusual to see locomotives from Pennsy, C&O, Burlington and Great Northern on the layout (my version of “Lend-Lease”).

I told you I had a long list. Sorry I left out the Chessie, Pennsylvania, and CB&Q. [:I] I am working on a longer spreadsheet that would have more names using post data. I’ll post it when it is set up.

I just do a freelanced shortline with a junction with the Sp, so I voted for that.

The Southern Railway.

The Southern Serves the South!

Union Pacific, Southern Pacific, BNSF, A.T.&S.F., Burlington, Burlington Northern, CSX, Chessie System, Milwauki?, B&O, Pennsylvania, Rock Island, Central Pacific Railroad, M.&H.R.R. (Dewitt Clinton), Amtrak, Southern, …

[#ditto]

Not much recognition for a Railway system that had a consolidated total of over 10,248 miles of track in 1978.
