What Railroads bought the GE C40-8W and what were the specs of each unit?

So I’m trying to figure out what Railroads in the US purchased GE C40-8Ws and what the specs of each one were from the default specs from GE. I know the original Demo unit had a Tri-Window cab and was short-lived and was a B36-8 rebuild (at least I think it was a B36-8)

I know CSX purchased some new with some from the Conrail split merger, NS never got any new, just ones from the Conrail split merger. Union Pacific, I also know, had some ordered new, with others being uprated to 4,135 HP and being redesignated C41-8W - CSX was the only railroad (to my knowledge) that had ordered the C44-8W - a test bed for Dash-9 Technology All were redesignated C44-9W, I think some got scrapped or rebuilt - still unsure on that. I know FOR SURE BNSF or ATSF had C40-8Ws before the majority were sold to CN and other railroads (I only know for sure because of the Warbonnet paint scheme - whenever someone mentions an ATSF warbonnet, I think the Dash-8 series.

EDIT: Here are some examples:

Not wholly accurate - I’ve already looked there, it’s missing information (like lots of it)

Thanks for at least trying though @Backshop

I think the likeliest source of information might be loconotes. There may be a groups.io group with enough interest to research the ‘holes’.

Alright, that helps a bit more. Thanks @Woke_Hoagland I’ll look into it and update on it

Kind of hard to answer your question @GabeTehGameh, but the following railroads ordered the GE C40-8W and their specs to my knowledge is unknown

Union Pacific
Conrail
LMSX
CSXT
Santa Fe
