What railroad do you think has the best paint scheme? I think the best is BNSF’s Orange Warbonnet is the best. It looks so good with their engines.

My favorite was the black and orange DRGW speed letter.
The Chessie paint is my all-time favorite.
One of my favorites
Toss up between AT&ST/BNSF Blue Warbonnet, BNSF Heritage 2, and Norfolk Southerns all black.
I also like SLA’s orange scheme which I don’t know the name of at this time.
Chalk one up for CSX’s “Pumpkins”(Their MOW units). All retired except for one converted into a “droid”. Locomotives included a GP30M, GP38’s, GP40’s, U18B’s, U23B’s, and a B23-7. You cannot beat the orange and black.
WC obviously. It was ALWAYS clean, and it was a beautiful scheme.

Pennsyvania’s schemes have always been my favorites.
Chessie comes second.
Norfolk Southern’s Black Horses next,
And then Santa Fe’s cat whiskers.
And finally BNSF green and cream executive scheme.
I’ve always liked the Cal Northern green & white, and the New England Central blue & gold is pretty nice too.
