Runaway train 1985 and the only fake part is the fact they cannot stop a train from the cab that includes a big red button “emergency shutdown”.
I’m really excited about the new Train Movie coming out called Unstoppable coming out in Theaters November 12, 2010. If you don’t believe me then look at this site http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0477080/. Also, does Denzel Washington like Trains or is he just in the movie to be in another movie?

Interesting in that last video you can see what look like hydraulic arms pushing down under the loco’s to tip them over, two per loco. I’m sure this is something you won’t see in the actual film,
Another stupid Hollywood interpretation of reality in which everything blows up incuding objects falling into water. Sorry I won’t be seeing this one or many others like it. One more reason for the NIMBYs to react to common sense regarding trains.
You’d really enjoy the movie called “Trainmaster.”
Besides the bad acting it is a palate cleanser for the technical details, including a real manually-operated swing bridge!!
I’m not sure but those locomotives seem short on a lot of stuff like real fuel tanks, traction motors and prime movers. That’s what I call light rail.
